When we took DS12 last year I called Disney dining ahead aof time and notified them of his special needs, specifically that he cannot chew up food. All his food needs to either be naturally mushy or it needs to be blended up. No problem. At each restaurant the chef came out, met with us and Christian, showed us items on the menu that might work for him , and made a meal. That was true in every restaurant, including Kona Cafe,Hoop Dee Doo, Liberty Inn, & Marrakesh. It was never a big deal and DS wasn't stuck eating fruit cocktail and pudding all week. In fact, I was pretty impressed with his dinner at that French restaurant in Epcot. The way they fixed it, the plate looked just as tasty as any of the others, which is hard to do when the food is pureed. Kudos to all the Disney chefs for making our trip very normal.
