Purchasing Resort Room Items

Does anyone know if you are able to purchase items as found in your resort room? And how would you go about doing it? I'm interested in a lamp and a pillow seen in a Beach Club room. I wonder if they sell them in the resort gift shop?
Just can't remember.

I don't think they are for sale to the public.
I had asked about the bed spreads at the BCV and was told that they do not have them for sale.
You could ask though. Maybe if enough people ask they will make them available for sale!!

Unfortunately they do not sell those items in the resort gift shop. The only "room" items available for purchase are the terry cloth robes that are available to concierge guests at deluxe hotels.

The usual rule is no, you can't buy the room items, BUT, you may be in luck, because the two exceptions to this rule that I know about are the lamps they put in the Grand Floridian rooms, and also the Mickey-on-a-lifeguard-stand lamps that they are putting in the new Beach Club rooms that are both available for sale at the Disney at Home store in Downtown Disney. Is this good news?

I thought I had read a post some time back about someone buying a pillow- I think it was at GF. And I was hoping it was resort wide.

Well glad that's the lamp you're looking for! Gosh...should I tell you the price though...I was a little surprised....let's just say it's a little pricey. Anyway, I have heard some people say they've been successful at guest services when they ask, but I asked about some of the furnishings in my all-stars room and was told a definite no. It wouldn't hurt to ask though. The CM at the all-stars said something about a yearly auction of hotel items, but I haven't been able to find any info about it. Anybody know anything about this? She said every year they have an auction of hotel furnishings, and that a lot of cast members buy things at that time, and told me to look on the internet for information about it, but haven't found anything so far.

Would love to know as well....I can tell you that the blankets that they use at the Deluxe resorts are Vellux...(we purchased them in our area after returning home)...other than that...can't help.......
