Purchasing Membership Magic Beyond Annual Passes with Points from Two Different Contracts

I own DVC points with three different contracts (Totally different contract numbers). Does anyone know if I can combine points from two of those contracts to purchase an annual pass with points? I have to cancel my trip for next week due to weather (I can travel but don't want to leave an elderly relative unattended in bad weather). I will have one contract with 35 points in holding and another contract with 70 points in holding. I would love to be able to use those points to purchase annual passes but not sure if DVC wil allow me to combine them. Thank you.

I did some research and found I can't use points in holding to purchase the annual pass anyway.
 
I believe with the new transfer rules you can now transfer holding points from one account to another. This allows you to have the 75 points you need in one account.

Also, the rules on using holding points for the annual pass seems to be in question. I also found a site that seems to prohibit using holding points for purchasing an annual pass

HOWEVER - when on a call with member services I explicitly asked if holding points could be used to purchase the annual pass with MMB. I was told that *any* points currently in the account could be used for the purchase. This was confirmed on a second call I had about 2 weeks later (same wording).

I think it's worth a call to MS to verify this. If they give you the same answer they gave me, then transfer the points and get your pass!

Ditto, I was also told on the phone that points in holding could be used when I bought the BOGO OTU points in January.
 
I am so happy I checked here. I called this morning and was allowed to use all my points in holding, from two different contracts, towards annual passes. That is such a relief. The person who helped me was wonderful and seemed to know a lot about the process. It took about 30 minutes in total but she kept coming back to keep me updated and apologized for the delay. There were a number of steps she had to work through. Thank you!!

Has anyone purchased an annual pass with points (including some in holding), where you already have an existing annual pass that is not within renewal time frame? I'm hoping I can get a 'new' annual pass and just hold onto it until my current one expires in Oct.
 
Yes, that is what I just did. I purchased new annual passes with points in holding. I currently have annual passes that expire May 4, 2025. We do not plan to return until December 2025 so I just purchased new annual passes, did not renew. The pass says it must be activated by 2/6/2026.
