I am planning on renting via the DVC for a vacation next December. I have accumulated enough Rewards points on my Disney Visa to cover the cost of my Dining Plan. Since I would pay for the plan at check in, will I be able to use the Rewards card or do I have to use another form of payment?

You can use the rewards card. Make sure you allow plenty of time for Chase to issue you the card.

Yes you will be able to use your reward card. Have a great vacation.

earlier in April, we did the same thing. We had accumulated $477 in rewards and used it toward $626 in dining plan costs. We put the rest on the Visa to earn a couple more points for the next trip. We had no problem doing this at check-in at OKW

Yes ,I did the same thing back in August.I paid for DD9 & my dining plan with our Visa Points !!!(Just missed out on the Free Dining Plan last August by 3 days :sad2: )

Thank you to everyone :yay:

I have been a frequent reader of the DisBoards, but never needed to participate because our vacations are so few and far between. We're just under 2 years away from our first vacation since our honeymoon (2002-WL  ) Now, I am so excited about bringing our 2 DD's (will be 4 & 2) to WDW for their first trip.

I will be looking to rent at OKW the first week of Dec. 2007. We will be travelling with another family for their first trip so we want a 2 BR.

Thank you all! I'll be posting more soon

There are two locations in Downtown Disney where you can have your rewards put on a card for you. This can be handy if you earned last minute reward dollars and don't have time to wait for a card in the mail.

My husband picked ours up on arrival day and said that it was quick and easy.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I was curious about the Disney Visa. What are the rewards they offer?
