Purchasing Bottle of Wine from Epcot Gift Shop

My DH and I would like to purchase a bottle of wine from the gift shop at the France Pavilion and enjoy it while we’re eating a CS dinner from the bakery. First, is this allowed? I know you can order wine by the glass in the gift shop, but can we purchase a bottle from the wine cellar and drink it in the parks?

Also, if we do this, will they open the bottle and provide the little plastic wine cups?

I wondered the same thing when I was there in April!

I asked and was told that you can not open and drink the wine sold in bottles in the park. The stores are not allowed to open bottles "to go". You can get a glass of wine and drink it as you stroll the park!

At least that is what I was told.

1) Not allowed.
2) Too easy to have drunken people walking the parks.
3) At least when buying booze by the glass, they have *some* control.
4) Besides, by-the-glass increases revenue.
