purchasing and using a few one time use year points

What would happen in this scenario?- I book a reservation (at 7 months) using my banked points, + my current use year points,+a few bought one time use year points, Then later (but still within my banking window, and before 30 days out) I call to cancel the last 2 days of my trip. Will they let me use the bought points while saving a few of my current points, so I can bank them? I know that you can't bank the bought points,right? So in this case is the order banked, bought, then current points?

I don't know the exact order in this case but yes, the current points are the ones that would be freed up for you to bank if you wished.
