Purchasing an annual pass

Would it be better to go ahead and purchase an annual pass voucher and then activate it at guest services...or is it better to purchase 9 day tickets from Undercover Tourist to save ~$60 per ticket.

I know some things have changed with price bridging but I was a little confused and wanted to ask y'all for clarification.
Would we still save money purchasing the 9 day passes and converting to annual passes or no?

Are you staying onsite? If not, AP saves parking. AP will get you a second trip back in a year if that's possible and makes more financial sense. AP will save on some restaurants, 10% but hey it's at least the tax. It will also save on purchases. If none of that matters, save the $60. If it matters but you aren't coming back in a year, get one AP for the perks and the rest 9 day passes. You will also get the free pictures with the pass too

I think .... they mean ... should they buy 9 day early to save $60 and go through the upgrade process or just buy the AP to begin with. Question was about the upgrade process currently and converted value.

Yes, I may not have been very clear in my original question. We are making 4 trips to Disney so I know we will get APs...I'm just trying to figure out if we will save money by purchasing MYW tickets from undercover tourist and then converting or if it would be the same as just going ahead and purchasing an AP. Thanks

I have APs that we just renew so I can't help, someone should pop on that can help.

Upgrading a discounted ticket to an AP will save you money compared to paying the full cost of an AP from Disney.

Thank you. That's the post I read, but wanted to make sure I understood it correctly with the changes to price bridging. I will go ahead and purchase the 9 day tickets to save the most per ticket and then upgrade our first day there. Thanks again.

Ok, I was confused. So you are getting annuals but wonder if worth getting 9 day then upgrading. That I cannot answer for sure. It use to be, if they haven't changed things.

Some things HAVE changed, but not in a way that makes upgrading from discounted tickets a bad deal. It still works as a money-saver.
