Purchased tickets from WDW. Do I need to pick them up?

I just purchased 2 day hoppers online direct from WDW. It says they are Will Call tickets. I have linked them with his name which I manage through my MDE. Do we have to physically pick up his ticket? if so, do we have to go to the parks or can he pick them up from any onsite resort?

Does it make a difference if he brings his magic band?

Thanks!

1. Nope. (But you CAN do so, if you like, just in case.)

2. Will Call can be done at the parks or at the WDW resorts' Concierge Desk.

3. I'm not sure that I understand the question.
But, if he's dealing with "ticket stuff" and he has a MB, he should bring the MB.

Good to know so we can head straight to the parks rather than getting up early to go to Will Call - just in case. r.e. question below: I imagine he will need a MB to do this?

Can we go to another resort's Concierge desk? We are staying at the Dolphin so probably easier just to walk over to one of the Epcot resorts the night before our first park day.

Thanks!! Really threw me off when it hit me that Disney wasn't going to mail us the ticket.

1. You did not make it clear that he does not have a Magic Band.
IF he does not, he WILL NEED the ticket.

2. Yes, but why not just go to the Ticket Booth/Guest Relations outside Epcot's International Gateway?

Thanks! This is super helpful. I figured a 5-7 min walk to an onsite resort sounded better than a 15 min walk to the Intl Gateway, especially once we did it round trip :) just don't want to have to deal with Will Call when we are headed into the park. Last time I did Will Call (granted it was at peak hours at the Ticket & Transportation Centre), it took 30 mins in line. Dealing with a Resort Concierge while the kids enjoy the hotel lobby sounds so much more civilized.

We have a split stay with the Dolphin. Wasn't sure if we should bother adding him to our onsite reservation portion so he could get a magic band too. Based on your feedback, we'll do that. That way we can get his physical ticket (just as a backup) whenever we happen to be near an onsite resort concierge. I wasn't planning to bother with a magic band for him, but it sounds like it will be worth it. to spare us the hassle.
