I purchased airfare and park tickets via priceline.com (at a price 20% less than a travel agent told me they would cost), when I attempt to make reservations online via Disneys official website, for an on resort hotel and buy a meal plan, its stating I have to buy park tickets (which I already have). I have the voucher for the park tickets purchase - any advice, should I call reservations via phone.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You have to purchase a package with a minimum 1 day base ticket in order to get the dining plan. Everyone on the reservation, not just 1 ticket.

via Priceline (4 people - 4 days) won't count since I bought them ahead of time?. If this is the case and I still want to stay on park property, do I have to stay at the swan/dolphin (or any other ? non disney owned hotel). Or will reservations let me buy room nights and meal plan by showing the them proof that I have purchased park entry tickets.
Any help gratly appreciated.
Thanks !

You can stay at any hotel that you wish to stay at regardless of if you purchase park tickets or not. In order to purchase the dining plan, it must be purchased as a package consisting of park tickets, meal plan and hotel. The only way that you can purchase a meal plan now is to book your hotel, meal plan (for the number of nights you are staying at the hotel) AND a one day ticket for each member of your party. You can't purchase the meal plan separately and must purchase some type of park ticket and hotel room at the same time you purchase the meal plan to get the meal plan at all. I hope this makes sense. In order to qualify for the meal plan, you must purchase a package. In other words, Disney does not care that you have ticket vouchers. You did not purchase a vacation package so you cannot get the Disney Dining plan.

I use Priceline to buy single hotel nights. I would never use them to purchase a vacation package. NEVER. Well, lesson learned. You can still purchase food there, just not on the dining plan. Sorry we don't have better news for you.
