purchase resort mugs ahead of time?

We are staying at POR May 2008 and I would love to purchase the resort mugs for Christmas presents this year. Is it possible to purchase ahead of time or can you only purchase them once at the resort? Thanks very much.

They are only good for the length of stay on the trip they are purchased on, I would think you could give Disney gift cards in a card with a picture of the mugs.

I'm pretty certain you cannot get the mugs ahead of time. Considering the mugs are good only for length of stay that makes sense.
