Purchase decisions made based on faulty information on WDWInfo.com could be costly

I just bought WDW season passes because of incorrect information posted on WDWInfo.com and lost a lot of money. I inquired about it, got no response, and the website information was adjusted. How convenient for WDWInfo.com!

I'm updating this post to just say that all worked out, we are upgrading our tickets to annual passes which is only the difference in price. WDWinfo updated their site so this hopefully won't happen to anyone else.

It would help the rest of us to have more info. What was the incorrect information? How did it cost you money?

:confused3 Did you purchase a voucher or the actual ticket?
Have you used it yet??? Maybe you can get a refund.

i guess that you should have looked into it better. I don't know any informational website that guarantees their information.

Hmmm..cryptic..and by a poster with 2 posts. More details will be necessary.

This totaly screams red flag... Lets all just slowly turn around and then run like hell from this topic.

no other site besides disneyworld.com will guarantee a price shown on the site. Prices change all the time, other sites just provide useful information to help aid in planning. And you're the only one to blame for loosing money. You should've known the price you were paying prior to the purchase.

You can't purchase AP's or seasonal pass from a discount retailer.

Just want to say thanks to the web admins for reinstating me after this post.

I was a little upset over the error and our decision to purchase season passes from Disney based on the info on the site. BUT... having said this.... we had a great time at Disney yesterday and we can upgrade these tickets per Disney at the cost difference between the season and annual passes, which I was worried about them being non-transferable.

Thanks again.

I also want to say that my account is new to these boards but I've been reading posts now for about 2 years. Recently I bought a timeshare from a reseller for Beach Club, last night we used the points for the first time at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was very neat.

Thanks again.

Odd...

I just want to say that there is nothing wrong with Undercover Tourist. They don't sell season passes.

gianjoe, I'm glad that you worked it out.

why if you own DVC would you buy tickets from Undercover Tourist?
DVC members can buy an AP for the cost of a florida Resident AP, $100 off each AP.
sounds like someone wasn't doing their homework.

My guess is that he used the dates listed on UCT for his decision to buy the seasonal pass or something like that, not that he actually bought from them.
