Purchase Deals....

Sorry to do this to you guys. I know this question gets asked a lot but I usually never pay attention. But now I have a friend that is interested in buying in so I figure I would ask if there are any deals for them. Their main interest now is BCV but are there deals for BLT or AKV.......$$, points, and etc. Thanks in advance

You can always check DVCnews.com for the latest info on incentives. I would say resale is the way for him to go if he wants that resort, but Disney will sell it just not at a resale price. Make sure if you are his referral that he mentions your name.

Check out The Timeshare Store (banner above) for a listing of resales. Going through Disney for BCV is going to cost your friend quite a bit more than he would be paying via resale (also, depending on the availability of BCV points through DVC, it may be several months or longer before DVC has any points to sell). DVC is currently offering incentives on SSR, AKV, GCV, and BLT but there are a very few limited instances where the incentives DVC is offering are better than going resale. However, it will pay for your friend to crunch the numbers because for most use years, DVC is currently offering 2009 and 2010 points if you buy through them. Also, if your friend wants BLT, he is going to be very limited on resale contracts which may mean that he has to go through DVC anyway. Good luck!
