Purchase an AP prior to checkin

Hi everyone, I am leaving for the AKL concierge on Monday 11/10 to take advantage of the annual pass rates. My last annual pass expired in 2001 and I need to pick up a pass prior to my checkin. Can I buy a pass at Downtown Disney?

Hello - I think the only place you can purchase an AP is at the front gate to one of the major parks. Enjoy your trip!

You can purchase AP's at either of the two Guest Relations office at DTD. One is in Marketplace and one is in West Side.

We bought ours last year at the Guest Services in the Marketplace in Downtown Disney. If you go to the Disney store, don't you get a voucher? You would still have to get the actual pass once you got to WDW.

There are two Disney shops at Orlando International Airport. They both sell park admissions including active (not vouchers!) AP's and PAP's. They are both called Disney's Earport. There is one on the third floor main terminal on the A side and one on the third floor main terminal B side. You will see one right after you get off the shuttle from the airside terminal on your way to the baggage area.

I just purchased one at my local Disney store and it comes with the pass and an activation receipt, I guess that would be considered a voucher but I have the card in hand, they say it's cheaper if you get it from the store.

That is considered a voucher because when you get to WDW they give you a new paper AP and they take the plastic one you have from the Dsieny Store. We just got new APs at the Disney Store that we will activate in May (we didn't want to renew since our current APs expire this Dec) and we were told that the plastic pass we have now has to be turned in for the paper APs.

I don't think there are any discounts available on new APs - except for the short-lived Disney Club discount.

No. It is not a Guest Relations location. Think of it as a Disney Store. You will have to do your upgrade at a park or at DTD.
