In summary, this trip really was a great way to celebrate my 40th birthday. I did not think one time about turning 40 because I was having too much fun & really enjoying all the activities onboard the Disney Magic. I highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!
Highlights of the trip........so many!!!!!!!!!
Winning the Halloween costume contest for Most Disney on my 40th birthday dressed as Mary Poppins & Bert.
Getting to meet Don "Ducky" Williams & winning one of his drawings.
Getting to know DIS buddies before the trip here on the DIS & then meeting them onboard & having so much fun hanging out with such great people. It was so nice to see familiar faces all around the ship--for planned things & just running into people. I think we have formed some real true friendships & I look forward to cruising with my DIS buddies again in the future.
Spa time........spent together in the Rainforest room & having a hot stone massage on my Birthday.
Watching Disney shows in the beautiful Walt Disney theater & getting all misty.
All our wonderful meals at Palo...dinner & tea for us & my DIS ladies Brunch.
Hanging out in Rockin' Bar D & getting to know the cruise staff.
Seeing the Wonder & Magic side-by-side.
There were really no bad things except the rocky waters/weather/sea conditions, but overall they really didn't bother us. Our only disappointment was in not getting to
Castaway Cay.
It was a trip of dreams & wishes come true & I cannot wait to sail upon the beautiful blue sea with my wonderful husband & hopefully some DIS friends again soon aboard a lovely Disney ship--because really is there any other cruise line where you can dress up like a pirate & Mary Poppins all in one week?
Until next time.......
Mary & Bert bid you a fond cheerio & for good measure I hope you found this trip report at least in part "practically perfect in every way" because that is exactly how I felt about this trip.
Thanks for reading.
