Pumpkins and Pirates and Cowboys... Oh my! Our dream Disney TR!

Miss Minniver or Minn Minn as we like to call her woke me up this morning with a healthy amount of meeping and kneeding my hair with her paw. She is about the cutest tiniest 4 year old cat you ever saw... a little black cat with little white paws and a white chin.

So I woke up and pet her for a bit to quiet her down. I knew what she wanted.. She wanted to see what we refer to as Bird TV, when we pull up the blinds so that she can look out the window and see the birds, but the sun was rising and it was early morning so it was not time.

Everytime I spend some quiet time alone with the kitty, I think about her story. It began about 4 years ago before DBF and I even knew eachother.

DBF and his ex used to foster feral kittens and had gotten a phone call about taking in some new kittens that were in bad shape. It seems that there were about 20 live cats and at least 100 dead ones in a house in the area. The live ones were rescued, but the scene was gruesome. The only food the live cats had were the dead ones, and they went to the bathroom on the bathroom floor so much it caused the bathtub to fall onto the first floor.

DBF was being treated for cancer at that point and had just had the major surgery and was home and resting and told them to send the cats on over.. They took in 3 or 4 and Min was among them.

After a few days of getting used to them they let the cats loose in the house, and DBF would wake up every night to find Min curled up on his chest or under his arm. When it came time to find homes for the kittens, DBF could not let go of the little cute kitten. And when they separated, Min stayed with him. :)

Min hated me at first, but now she loves nothing more than to bat my hair around and play on her scratching throne. She gets plenty of attention and lots of love. She is still a bit skiddish around a lot of people, but once she gets used to it she is looking for attention.

I will have to post a picture of her here when I get home tonight. I thought I had one here, but no such luck.

I will update on stuff Disney related soon, I just was thinking of the cute kitten and wanted to tell her story.

Awww that is a cute story! Cute name too.
I am angry at my cat still, did you read about whatelse she was up too yesterday? Urgh. She is very hyper active.

Alright, I confess. I'm a dog person.

But....

that cat sounds adorable, and the type that I would love to see. Sadly, I'm allergic, hence the dog person, but I love to hear about people's cute kitties.:thumbsup2

I am sorry about the allergies :goodvibes My main allergy is pollen and let me tell you how much fun I had this morning driving in my pollen covered car...:(

Well hopefully I can post a picture here so you may adore the kitty from afar.

I have to say I am a both person. I love my Mom's St. Bernard and I love my cat.

I have been getting the allergy shots for the past five years and they've really helped me a lot. I've only had to take my Allegra once this past week, and the pollen has been nasty up here. Let me just put it this way. My blue car is now yellowish-green. Poor DS is a whole other story. I give him Claritin and Singulair, and he's still got a bit of a runny nose. It seems to be getting better, though.

Oddly enough, all the people I started getting allergy shots on the cats for no longer own cats! :rotfl2: So I really don't know if I'm still allergic, and not itching to find out...I was to the point where my throat would close off. Blech.

I'm more of a cat person but to be fair I have never had my very own dog. DF and I want to get one when we have a bigger place but we want a small dog. No bigger than 20lbs is my goal, though DF thinks differently.

Just remember, big dog equals big poops. :lmao:

And don't forget to mention to him that he would be the one to pick up the big dog poops...
Dang right. I don't do dog poop.

Exactly...me, personally, I'd aim for something under 15 pounds.:thumbsup2 :lmao:
I agree. I really want a pomeranian. I actually want a dog that will be smaller than Sulley because I think he will feel threatened if not. Sulley is 25lbs, so 10-15lbs would be ideal! :dogdance:

My grandmother got a scottie dog after my grandfather passed away. I love him. She named him after the scottie dog from Lady and the Tramp (I think).
Isn't his name Doc? And the bloodhound was Trusty!

Just a note of warning:

Never leave really spicy noodles sitting in the fridge for 3 days....this would allow time to let the spices really set in....

2 1/2 glasses of juice later, I have learned my lesson.

:lmao: :rotfl2: I am sure you don't find that funny, but I got a good chuckle out of it. :stir: <--- Spicy Noodles

Oh I was actually laughing my butt off! :rotfl2:

Mainly because when I ate them on Saturday I didn't need to drink anything while eating it.... it was only moderately spicy.

I'm confused. Surprising, huh? Have you posted pics of yourself and BF? Or am I dreaming, I thought you had and I went back to look and no dice. Help the LL. :confused3
