Pumpkin Carving

Need ideas for a pumpkin carving contest. Can only use the pumpkin, can't use other props around it. I work in Med Records at a hospital so it has to be tasteful. Any creative ideas? Thanks!!!

I just made a set of the fake pumpkins for my family. They are great becuase you can use them year after year. I liked the pumpkins from Michaels and not at Joann's.
The one one the left is the pumpkin from Joann's. It is a picture of our Manchester Terrier dog named Ted.
