Pullin the Goalie

Future Disney Family here!

So were trying to conceive or as my husband says, "we're pullin the goalie". Being very optimistic here but I'm going to make reservations for May 2003.

Thinking that we'll have a third wheel by then. At least hoping.

Anyone else done this?

Any thoughts/advice?

To clarify, looking for anyone who has made advance reservations not knowing their family status.

Not looking for advice on conception. Got that one figured out already. LOL

You should be fine no matter which hotel you book. All hotels (on Disney property anyway), accomodate more than 2 people. Enjoy "pulling the goalie", you will have a great time no matter how many of you there are!

You don't mention where you want to stay in May 2003. If you absolutely have your heart set on a place and you don't want to miss out, I would go ahead and make your ressies, but if you are flexible, I wouldn't worry about making reservations so early. But in any case, depending on how you make your reservation, the cancellation policy if fairly flexible.

So, say you score a goal tomorrow, you would be bouncing a baby DS or DD on your knee around 2/02? That means your would have a 1 year old plus, and could pretty much stay anywhere (if requested, WDW resorts will provide a crib, or even bed rails). If, however, it takes awhile to score, you could find your with an infant who needs formula, etc. If that is the case, may I suggest one of WDW's home away from home resorts. When my DS was 10 months old, we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas. It worked out very well because we had the fridge and a microwave, and were in walking distance of Epcot.

Good luck! When DH and I "pulled the goalie," it took 4 years for DS to show up. But now he's two, and there is another one on the way.
