Okay- so this is my first ever Trip Report, and well Pre-Trip Report
So a few months ago (July 7th actually) I was looking to book travel for an employee at work when I stumbled upon Southwest Airlines $39 each way special. I immediately called DH (whom I had been married to for all of 3 weeks, and had just returned from our Honeymoon in WDW) and said- Let's go to Disneyland! He willingly agreed, and we booked our flights! I had quite a few Marriott Rewards points, so used those to book our hotel room. We're both Annual Passport Holders- so really it's a quite economical weekend (Plus it didn't require the use of any DVC points!). So the dates are set, it's a quick trip, but a fun one none-the-less. We fly in the morning of October 24th, and out the evening of October 25th.
I'll start by introducing us! We're Jenn & Aaron. We were married on June 12th, 2009, and honeymooned in Walt Disney World. I grew up a Disney addict, visiting once a year until 1998 when Disney introduced these fabulous ornaments that you could purchase with any $25 purchase. Well, my mom was SET on getting every ornament (and she did) so we would go out every other weekend (Sat&Sun) to pick them up. After that, my family purchased Annual Passes, and the rest is history, we've held them every year since! In 2005 I purchased Disney Vacation Club (best purchase EVER!).
Me on our Honeymoon:
I'm a "young professional" that travels quite a bit for work (it has it's advantages racking up the frequent flier miles and marriott rewards points). I grew up loving Disneyland.
DH on our Honeymoon:
Aaron is another "young professional" who will be graduating from ASU in December 2009 (which of course is grounds for another celebratory trip to Disneyland!). Aaron had only been to Disneyland once before we started dating. He went back in December of 2007 with me, and became a proud owner of his very first Disneyland Annual Pass!
Halloween is my second favorite holiday to celebrate at Disneyland, after of course Christmas. Last year DH and I spent Thanksgiving at Disneyland with our families, and the year prior we were there at Christmas Time as well, so I'm excited for Aaron to get to see Disneyland all set up for Halloween!
