Ok, so I decided to post a pre-trip report because I was just working on our 'schedule' and I thought I could use some advice. so feel free to chime in on that.

First the basics. We booked our lodging at the Wilderness Lodge Villas back in January, and I set off and running and purchased the plane tix (got a great deal) and made the ADRs on the first day that they were available. Then, life interfered and I almost forgot about it.

So, now here I am less than two weeks out and totally obsessed! We arrive on Sat the 9th at about 3pm. We are taking Magic Express and having groceries delivered from Garden Grocer (although I havent actually placed the order yet, I have almost everything picked out).

We are leaving on Sat the 16th.

The cast:

Me - Mom - 29 year old software engineer and avid scrapbooker. I LOVE disney, although I have only been twice to WDW and once to DL, I just think it is the most magical place! I am going to take a thousand pictures and relive it through scrapbooking over and over again. And I can't wait to introduce my DD to Disney!

DH- 31 yr old student and stay at home dad. Is excited and likes Disney, but not a planner.

DD - 2.5 she is a daredevil with most things but when we took her to an amusement park last year she was scared. So I am a little nervous about that. She is a great swimmer and keeps talking about how she is going to see Cinderella's castle.

MIL and FIL will be making a cameo appearance for two days mid-week.

So, the plan is to get up early, be at rope drop and tour like crazy until lunch (with a hearty snack to keep us going until at least noon) then back to the room for lunch, a nap and maybe a swim. Then back out for maybe some park time before dinner, dinner, then maybe some park time after dinner if we feel up to it. DD is just about ready to give up a nap, so if she gets a decent nap, she is usually good to go until at least 9pm. I am assuming she will need a nap every day (gosh I hope I can get her to nap) so she will probably be ok to do some more park/fireworks stuff after dinner.

I am an OCD planner, but I keep reminding myself that I am traveling with a 2 yr old and I need to be flexible. So I am planning like we are going to hit the park before and after dinner, but I know that might not happen.

So, here is my plan

Sat- 9 arrive, get checked in, no plans, just swim and maybe eat at whispering canyon if we can get a seat without an ADR otherwise Roaring Fork. or maybe DTD if we are feeling adventurous.

Sun - 10 - am - MK
pm - AK
- 5:55 at Boma then maybe AK after

Mon - 11 - am - HS (EMH) - ILs arrive in afternoon
pm - 6:30 at whispering canyon.
(Ils are watching DD while DH and I go to Epcot )

Tues - 12 - am - AK
pm - 5:15 luau then MK

Wed - 13 - am - CRT 9am then MK
pm - HS (EMH)- 6:30 brown derby

Thurs- 14 - am - MK
pm - mickeys backyard bbq

Fri - 15 - am - AK
pm - EP 6:00 marrakesh then MK if we feel up to it

so this adds up to
MK - 2 days
EP - .5 day with DD and .5 day alone
HS - 1 day
AK - 1.5 days (DD is BIG into animals)

that isnt counting anything that might be after dinner because I didnt want too much pressure. So the after dinner touring would be just bonus.

oh and I currently have an ADR for Akershus Princess Dinner on the same night as the Luau. I havent cancelled it yet because I wanted to double check with ILs and see how DD was with the princesses. She is into princess but I think she will like the Luau show too.

ok, hit me with your critique!

Sounds good to me. :) I cant wait to read more. And i WISH we could book Akershus! It was booked solid. Haha. So instead we are going to do Ohana. So thats still good.. ;)
