Getting very excited....actually kind of weird to think I'm so close to being in Disney World. Yay!

YES! We have been running into the expensiveness of trip preps too! But a lot of it is stuff that we "need" anyway...so that at least helps. We're having to add a "trip prep" section to our budget. I can't believe our trips are getting her SOO soon!

I think this week has been slow for everybody. I can't believe it's only Thursday. This week has taken F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Maybe it's because I know that next week is a "short" week and the week after (at the very end of the week) is DISNEY WORLD!!!

I am in the middle of getting new job duties, so theoretically I should be busy and the days should be moving fast. INSTEAD, the clock has just started to crawl each day. Come on!

I think this week has been slow for everybody. I can't believe it's only Thursday. This week has taken F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Maybe it's because I know that next week is a "short" week and the week after (at the very end of the week) is DISNEY WORLD!!!

Yeah....work-wise, things are slow, but the evenings still go fast. It has been a very busy week as far as evenings and we haven't time to get much trip stuff done. Luckily, we have a 3-day weekend and can try to get all plans finalized and even start working on some packing.

Ach!! Busy weekend followedy by VERY busy days at work!


BUT....

ONLY 8 MORE DAYS UNTIL DISNEY WORLD!!




I was so busy yesterday that I didn't even get a chance to gloat about getting to do a single-digit dance.

During the 3-day weekend, we managed to get the rest of our T-shirts made. Previously, I showed you Joshua's Star Wars shirt. We made similar ones for Me (John), Bridgette, and Samantha. The plan is to wear those on Saturday the 19th when we go to Hollywood Studios.

We also made specific shirts for the whole 7-person group for another day. I'm keeping those shirts a secret, though
We're very excited about the ORIGINAL design we came up with (and I created). I'll give you a hint...if anyone happens to be at Epcot on Tuesday, Sep 22nd, I sure hope you get a chance to see us.

If not...then, make sure to check out the Trip Report to see what we came up with and how it all turns out.

For the most part, we have all our clothes either set aside or at least picked out and this weekend we should get most of the packing completed.
Joshua's been having a blast with his camera (taking pictures of any and everything!) (sadly, though, we lost his camera bag while at a museum on Monday)

Oh well.

This time one week from now....I'll be getting my work/desk all situated so that I can be gone for 11 days (including weekends)

Work plus I have a meeting at the school I teach at tonight.
Tomorrow...more work and then Bridgette is having a Ladies' Night at the church.
Then, the weekend in which we get to try to get everything packed....and before you know it, we'll be back to Monday.....

So excited. In fact, I've entered that surreal part of the countdown. I'm now SO CLOSE that it doesn't even feel real...I've been anticipating this trip so long that it doesn't feel like it should actually be about to happen.
