PTR-A solo trip to celebrate a life and new begining!!

Looks like we'll be down there at the same time! We're driving down on the 16th, and plan on getting tickets for the party on the 18th.

Nothing beats Disney therapy! My husband grew up going to Disney with his dad. We both have been going for years, but our first trip together was in 2013. It was his first trip since his dad had passed. I think it was healing for him to be able to go back and reminisce about the times they spent together there. I hope this will hold true for you as well.

Looks like our kids (also two girls and a boy) are really close in age...22, 20, and 17. Sorry about the struggles of dealing with aging parents, but glad you're able to get back to WDW for a little refresher.

Hey There!
DD19 (Megan) checking in!
I just want to say how truly excited me and my entire family are to send my mom on this trip. Throughout the past few years my mom has been the strongest person I have ever met. I don't know how she does what she does and still manages to be the incredible woman I am proud to call my mom. She deserves this trip so much i couldn't even think of how to word it. I'm trying hard to think of anything she loves more than her family, disney, and maybe hockey lol.
That being said, I am totally going to be living through her in this trip report while studying for finals. Everyone following this is in for a real treat because there a few things mom loves talking about more than Disney.
Here's to stress-free planning, packing, travels and a wonderful trip!

Crying my eyes out now......... I am so lucky to have the family I have that has helped me through the last couple of years, even though it was hard on them as well. No worries Megan, if my texts to you with my plans aren't enough I am sure here will help you pass the time while studying for finals.

You could go to POR and grab a bit to eat and listen to Ye Haw Bob show

I have actually thought about doing that on previous trips but never have. I have only every been to Riverside but would love to walk around the two resorts and soak it in and see the show. Thanks for the reminder of it!!

That is great!!!
I have heard it is such a nice time to go. Before the holiday crowds but all the decorations are up.
There is something to be said about Disney therapy, I am hoping it helps here as well.

It is funny to see you post the ages of your kids, it still takes me a minute to realize mine are the same age, in so many ways they are still so little in my head. It all goes way to fast!!
Thank you for the kind words!
