hello!
Firstly Thanks for checking out my Dining PTR:thumbsup2
I have spent literally HUNDREDS of hours sat at my laptop reading reviews and menus! I LOVE amazing food and I love the experience of eating out as a family.
You can check out who we are here....

We decided to do the DDP for convenience over cost saving.
Rather than splitting a bill or having to order seperately at CS we just felt this would be easier. Also my sister and I are not the biggest eaters so we tend to order either appetizers, smaller entrees, kids meals at CS and never order dessert just because of the amount of food you are given. I would rather order the salmon or the steak but I don't becuase I know I will only eat 1/3-1/2 of it. Somehow being on the dining plan, despite the fact we know we are paying for it really, just makes us feel better about doing this! AND we can order a dessert even if it is just for a few mouthfulls!:worship:
I chose to do the DxDP for our last 4 nigts basically because we wated to do a few signatures and character meals so we again thought it would make life easier, not save us a fortune! (It will be just DH, me DD and my mum the last 4 nights so we want to relax having done the parks A LOT in the 1st 11.)

I am also planning on paying OOP at a couple of restaurants like RFC and T-rex or on evenings where I am just not htat hungry and realy just want an Apetizer. This way we will have a couple of extra TS credits so me and DH can go to Jiko:banana:
I am going to take pictures at the TS meals but prob not at the CS unless something is really nice! I promise I will do full reviews at everywhere we eat, including the CS locations, I have read THOUSANDS of posts about eating healthy in WDW. Whilst they were helpful they really suggest picking restaurants to suit your needs, but the rest of our family doesn't want to eat like me, so we will be going to the restaurants that EVERYONE wanted so I will be reporting on what I managed to get to suit my needs.

Anyway,
here is our current dining schedule. we go 8th-29th Aug (at I-Drive 1st)

Your plans sound great. There are quite a few of us there in August so we might bump into each other. I would love to do the Deluxe Dining Plan, even if just for a few days but I know I would never be able to eat that much food. In fact, we had included the Deluxe DDP for a 1-night stay a couple of years ago and I ended up chickening out and cancelling it a few days before we arrived

Hi! Thanks for being my first reader:thumbsup2
We always tend to go in August as I am a teacher (not an English teacher before anyone comments on my spelling!:rotfl2:) so it's really only the summer holiday where we have the opportunity to come for anything more than 14 nights.
:offtopic:Having said that DH,DD and I have booked our first Disney cruise for Easter next year:bitelip:pixiedust::cool1: but we are only doing 5 nights in Disney beforehand to keep the budget within our reach! Because we knew we couldn't go for as long if we wanted to do the cruise it didn't really matter when we booked so we chose for the weather!

The DxDP does look like a tonne of food but we want to do it more for the relaxation side of having long leisurely dinners and the fun of a few character meals! I do not think for a second I will eat everything, I'm planning to eat about 1/2 of mine, need to make sure I have room for dessert!!!
Thanks for reading!!!

Your plans sound great!! I'm going to be eating at some of them also. I can't wait to read your reviews.`

I am still struggling to be 100% happy with my plans!
The ones that are causing me stress are chefs de France dinner and that darn last day where I don't know where to go for lunch!

Have been reading about chefs de France and seems the quality is not great these days. Thinking of maybe switching to somewhere like restaurant Marrakech, trying something totally different? We don't want to repeat anywhere we have already been to but any other suggestions for a more "adventurous" 1 credit meal? Can be anywhere, doesn't have to be Epcot. Kouzzzina maybe? Ugh I font know!!
Other option would be to do BD for dinner and use the 1 credit for lunch, I am not sure about having a signature for lunch anyway. Maybe we could have a lazy morning, then go dhs for lunch and stay through til dinner, or go Epcot for lunch and a couple of hours before swapping to dhs?
Or could stay with current plan and do dtd at night, eat at raglan rd or portobello? Or do dtd in day n dhs in the evening? A signature in the day time does seem like a lot of food.
Ugh! I just can't make my mind up!
