PSSSST I have a secret to tell you! Updates!

Great trip report! Sounds like you and your family ran into a lot of YOAMD reps!

Something like that happened to me on one of our trips. I dropped my digital camera in the AKL gift shop and didn't realize it until I was half way back to my room. Luckily, someone had given it to a CM. :goodvibes

I thought we would never see it again. Very few places I believe you can travel to and have it returned. I was so relieved as we just bought it at Christmas. Pixie Dust for sure!

I truly enjoyed your style of your Trip Report. I will be staying at POR April 4-8, then switching over to the boardwalk. I loved your presentation of highs and lows. Did you think it was an inconvience for you and your family that the food court was under refurbishment. Personally, I think some sort of incentive should be given for the inconvience, but that is just my opinion.

I feel the same way about the Fass Past, it is to hard looking at the people that have been waiting for ever. We went in 2000 when it just started and I saw some really ugly confrontations.

Was it an inconvenience...sure but they are trying to keep the disruption to a minimum. People are being fed. What I did find strange that even at check-in I still was not told about the rehab. I knew about it long before but if I had shown up and then found out on my own I probably would not have been as understanding.:)

Honestly at times I felt guilty walking up that fastpass line. It passed quickly:lmao:

Great report...love the detail, without getting carried away;)

I can't believe you got so lucky with the Dream Team...we were there the week before...actually had a DT member talk to us and ...Nothin'!!

Thanks for the report!

- I liked building 27 even though we were in 14. Walked everywhere. Loved all the ducks and critters!

I was thinking of requesting building 14 for our upcoming trip...should I consider building 27 instead? What did you like about it?

Fourteen is close and convenient. It did have a lot of traffic near it. Twenty-seven is just a little further walk...hardly anything...and it seems to be much quieter, less traffic and if you request a water view it is so lovely near the bridge! You have to decide if you mind the extra little walk or not. If I were to go back to POR I would request 27 for us IMO.

It was a quick and interesting read. Sorry you didn't like Boma. Its one I booked specially after hearing good reports. Guess I'll just have to enjoy nutmeg.

Finally had time to read your report. Great style! :thumbsup2 Loved it, so concise and packed with great information. We'll be staying at POR in 11 days or 10 sleeps, but sho's counting?!:rotfl::woohoo:

I actually liked it. The food was good service was excellent. I just didn't like the constant pounding on the drums and a lot of the dishes were heavy with nutmeg. Most people may not notice this, however I have and egg and fish allergy so my choices were quite restricted so maybe the choices left for me just all had nutmeg in them that's all. The dishes were lovely though and I wish I could have tried them all. Next time if we go back we will try Jiko.

Perfect report. So easy to read and it sounds like you had a wonderful time. It brought tears to my eyes when you talked of you little guy on Soarin'. I'm so excited about those moments when we come with our 4 yr ds in October.:goodvibes

Great trip report!! Excellent detail. I know what you mean about people wearing hats in restaurants.

Love reading your report.

Funny how some people think that you have to pay for fastpasses. Never knew that. Got to love fastpasses. Or you get a fastpass and ride too.

Seven loads of wash :scared1:

We stayed at POR in building 16 but I think we were in a refurbished room because it was very clean and looked like new.

Seven yes...LOL we are a family of five. That's nothing I usually do a dozen or more loads a week at home including all bed linens. Some days it seems that's all I do as I do laundry seven days a week:laundy: Mousekeeping was very efficient and kept our room clean. What was lacking was general maintenance.

Love the trip report! Very concise.

We also stayed at POR, building #14, the one time we stayed there. We loved the location. I requested, and received a ground floor, corner room. I loved the closeness to the food court. Very important in the a.m. when my DM wanted some coffee.

You're so lucky to get so many Magical Moments. I hope we get at least one on our trip in Sept. I've been to Disneyland several times since they started MM (AP) and have yet to be sprinkled with that pixie dust :wizard: . I'm keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed.

Interesting what people believe about FP. I don't know if someone else posted this, but I frequently use them after the ending time. Both at DL and WDW. Have never had a problem. (I've never used one from a different day, but I've read that that works too) One of the things I love to do, when it's not too crowded, is get one for a second ride, before I get in line. This works really well on rides like KS, where the line can grow quite a bit while you are riding it.

Great report! Lots of information in one post!
