Do you have to be staying at a Disney Resort to make a PS?

hi,

You don't have to stay at a disney resort to make ps's. I live in Florida and drive over and have meals there all the time with ps's. When you make the ps, the cm will ask what resort you are staying at, I just say none, just coming for dinner. I have never had a problem.

Thank you. I would like to take my mom to Boma over Christmas and I will be staying with my sister and not at WDW this trip.
