If you are not staying on the grounds, can you still make PS arrangements? If you can, how far in advance can you make them? We will be taking our 6 yr old grandson for his first Disney trip and want to do some character meals. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, all guests can make advance PS arrangements by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Most locations are booked 60 to 120 days in advance. There is an excellent FAQ here:
