PS ? group size & Rainforest Cafe

I have 2 questions about PS. I read somewhere that for a group of more than 4, you may not be seated together unless you call group reservations???? Also is it correct that you can make a PS for Rainforest at AK, but not DD? I've read conflicting info on this. Thank you.

Can't answer the first part of your question but in relation to Rainforest Cafe. PS for RC at AK can be made via WDW Dine, Reservations for RC at DTD can be made directly to the restaurant, you can make them up to one year in advance.

I'll take a stab at the first part. I think it only becomes an issue at the dinner shows (HDD, Luau, etc), not regular PS and I also think it's for any party over 8. I could be wrong though... it wouldn't be the first time

I've done a few PS for our group of 6 including HDD. I wasn't told that we would not be seated together - I hope not !!

Just last week, I made a PS for a party of 7 at Rainforest Cafe in AK. I told the lady I spoke with that we could sit at different tables if neccessary, but she said it would be no problem for us to be seated together. And, I did not use group reservations, just regular WDW Dine.

I just returned and had a PS at Rainforest DTD for a party of 5. Definitely make the PS!!!
