Blue Grotto, Providence: Way overhyped. Too expensive for a mediocre Italian restaurant on Federal Hill.

Carmichael's Café, Providence - right next door to my work. a sandwich shop. not bad for quick sandwiches

Harbor Grille & Lounge, Providence. Is this the restaurant at the Radisson? I haven't been there myself but haven't heard all that good reviews for it.

Julian's Restaurant, Providence. I've only been to brunch here. It was reasonable, the food was good, and it's a funky retro place which was fun.

Luigi's Restaurant, Johnston. I've been here twice. Portions were decent. Food was so/so. It's more of a banquet type restaurant than an intimate place. Think the old Folan's in North Attleboro - it's like that.

Rue De L'espoir, Providence: The owner's girlfriend works here. It's a great restaurant. I think RImonthly named it a hidden jewel.

I don't think the Rue has any gc's left. They and Trinity have been showing out of stock check back for me for months now.

Oh. I did notice Trinity was out, but not Rue. I'll check. You gave me a couple of others I'll try.

I don't eat out in Providence very much - but I did have lunch at Rue De L'espoir on Monday. It was delicious for lunch - my mom has been there for dinner and says that it was also excellent. I also really liked the atmosphere there.

I wish I were more help - I'm a true Rhode Islander, Providence is too far for me to travel for dinner!
