I noticed that over Thanksgiving there are two showings of Fantasmic: 6:30pm and 8:30pm. The park closes at 8:30pm. What are the pros/cons of each of these showings? Are both heavily attended? How far in advance do you need to line up for each showing?

I have been there in te time frame you are asking about. The pro for the later one is it will be darker. That way you get the full effect of the lighting and special effects. I am sure the early show will be after sunset. My assumtion would be that both will be very crowded as well as the parks. The last is just a guess.

So, if we are doing the dinner package...and we are eating at 5:00 pm, can we go to the 8:30 show?

My family has been to two of the later shows. One reason I like the later show is because in addition to it being darker during the show, if you want to get photos without a lot of other people in them all you have to do is hang out for awhile in the shops and then snap away.

If there are two shows, is it possible to wait until 15 minutes or 30 minutes before the show starts to get a seat?
