Pros and Cons of 2 2BR vs 3 BR Grand Villa

So mother will be sleeping with the special needs child? Or will the parents? Or do you expect mother to sleep in the living room???. If they live far away are you sure the child will sleep with someone in her room? Should answer these needs before you book.

I personally vote for the 3 bedroom. Mom with your son in one bedroom, you in the master and other family in the other bedroom together. OWK, while on two floors is HUGE. Great balcony, four bathrooms (granted only 3 tubs), huge laundry room and LOW points.... We will have ten in one this summer :cool1:

I also would ask about their sleeping arrangements. If the couple is taking the master and they want the living too free then that leaves the niece and grandma together in a room. As a parent of an aspie- I can tell you in our case that would have not worked unless they were very close (and I can't tell if that's the case with the distance mentioned).

If someone is sleeping in the living room though, then it seems fine- however my aspie likes certain lights and sounds on so it would be disruptive to have them in the living room to everyone else:)

Hope this helps a little! But def I think their own unit would be good:)

If mom sleeping with nephew doesn't work out (or is it niece?), Mom could always move to their room and have the same arrangement you are proposing, without her having to share a kitchen with brother in law.

For our extended family, its the kitchen that becomes the point of contention when we are all in one space - not the bedrooms or the TV remote - but who controls what sort of coffee goes into the coffee maker, when a fresh pot of coffee is required, who cooks something someone else can't stand the smell of, who leaves out bowls of food that someone else's children aren't supposed to eat. Its particularly contentious in the mornings, when everyone is moving through the kitchen.
