We leave for Disney World tomorrow and I am very excited about this trip! I am proposing to my girlfriend at the Grand Floridian Cafe. I have ordered the Cinderella Chocolate Slipper dessert with "will you marry me" written on the plate. I hope there aren't any slip ups on their part, I gave them the reservation number and everything. I chose here because this is her favorite resort even though we haven't stayed there. I'm 100% sure we will honeymoon at Disney World and If I can swing it, I'd like to do a split stay and end the honeymoon at the GF.

Congrats! Thats very exciting! So this means you'll be dealing with the vegan diet for the rest of your life. (If i recall correctly, on another thread you were looking for restaurants that were also vegan friendly). Really though, congrats and please do tell us how it all went. GF is a beautiful resort, and the GF cafe is definitely a hidden gem. Have fun!

Haha!! You are correct about the vegan diet. I had made all the arrangements pre veganism (haha) but it looks like there are a few things there that she can choose from. From the other thread, I have decided to 100% try the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. Maybe I will love it. If not I will hunt down a Mickey pretzel or something.

If you dont like Tangerine Cafe, there are plenty of delicious snacks in other countries in Epcot for you to enjoy. Germany, France, to name a few.

It went great! She said YES! The staff must have clued everyone in because they presented the Cinderella Chocolare Slipper dessert and the whole restaurant erupted in applause and cheers! It was amazing! People were stopping by our table congratulating us and to see the ring!!

Amazing!! DH proposed to me at WDW and he was so nervous that something would go wrong, he couldn't relax and have fun until that day was over! LOL! Congratulations to you both!!
