I'm not trying to be mean at all but i like to think i have good taste and style i took a lot of classes in fashion design in college and I am really just trying to be helpful here but none of those shoes match any of the dresses I like the black dress alot it is soo pretty but please don't wear any of those shoes girl!!! lol

Oh, sweety do NOT feel bad, I had my dress in December!!! The one you chose is gorgeous! Keep on saving!!!
But I do have to agree, not too crazy about the red shoes :-\
I'd go with a black, or light blue...even a silver might be nice...But the red will only take away from the beauty of the dress, and you!

i have 2 proms to think about. so i think that i might get 2 cheap dresses so i can wear 2 different things... but i dont think that many people are going to both proms.

I'm not really thinking about prom yet, because ours is really late this year. Sadie Hawkins is January 31 and then prom isn't until May 25 or something like that! My friends and I have been looking at dresses in magazines and stuff, though, just so we have an idea of what kind of styles we like.

Oh no the only colour showed was red. I'm not colour blind haha. I think I'm going to save my money and wear some black shoes I already have. Oh how I love my dress.

:hew::!!! Ok!!! The using shoes you have is a good idea, I bought mine before my prom and forgot to wear them around my house-bad idea! Halfway through prom I wanted to rip them off and burn them...

hey your not the only one planning early so am i although i have a while till prom me and friends are going as old movie stars because we arent the type who get all jazzed about dresses and such so im going as maryilan monroe white dress and such my friend is planning to be audrey hepburn and were renting out a school buss or u hall truck should be awsome! i know it dosent deal with prom an its kindda off subject but this homecomming we all went as flappers or dressed in 20s swing wear/ think chicago/ and the guys as old gangsters (not the 50 cent type gangsters) it was great! wow wrote more than i planned

Oh yeah I made that mistake last year with the shoes I'm going to wear. Lucky for me I've worn them several times before.

No one ever goes to dances here. We just had one cancled due to lack of interest. Homecoming no one really went at all. The only dance people go to is prom. The other dances no one dresses up for. I'm not the girl to get all into fashion and stuff but I fell in love with that dress

That sounds like a really fun idea! For my prom, my dress was very elegant-old movie star-esque...It was black with a low v-neck, and the back was a veeeerry deep V with a circle cut out at the bottom of the V. From the circle came a long beautiful train-which presented a problem so my mom sewed some clips-like the kind on a bra-to the circle so the train came up it fell really pretty (hard to explain though...) and the side had a split.
I wore my hair in a low bun, with a braid going around my head like a crown. I was the only girl there w/that dress and hair like mine. Everyone else had on big poufy ballgowns or tight pastel dresses that were sparkley, with their hair in curls pinned up on top of their head. I liked that I looked different...
I think I was one of like 8 girls in a class of 1000 people who didnt have glitter in their hair!!!

PLEASE I beg of any prom-goers, do not go trendy, go classic as Roxter has chosen to do. Trends will fade and years later you will look at your pics and say "what was I thinking?"

I looked at several plain black classic dresses, but both Corey and I loved that one.

I def. won't wear any glitter in my hair. Maybe if it's that blue colour, but probably not.

I have to find them! I have a lot of me w/my friends-my one friend Pam got this gorgeous middle ages looking dress w/the long drapey sleeves and corset top from the Village...beautiful! I'd love to find the pics and send em! I just have to steal em off my old computer!!!
Anyways, I agree with you and Corey-the dress you chose is absolutly stunning, youre going to blow them all away!
