From your experience does the projected date that they give you on your paperwork for closing always end up exactly on that date or can it change?

hi: it can change a little here and there. for our first contract, we actually closed a couple days before they projected. for our second contract, we wound up closing a week or so after the projected date. this was the fall of last year when bwv was selling out. they were extremely busy and some dates got bumped back.

Just went over this with the quality people last week, as I wanted to move up our closing date for an add-on. From what I understand, your closing date is 18 days after you sign your documents. Then after the 18 days, you may have to wait a few more days, as I'm not sure they close on each day or just certain days of the week. Also, I think how you pay also can affect your closing date. The sooner they get the cash, the better your chances are for a quicker closing. We are anxious to close so we can borrow points to use at our 11 month window, and you can't borrow points until you close.
