Project Screen Website, “Helping Disney Cruise Line guests complete pre-sailing Covid-19 protocols” in Europe

I uploaded mine and my husbands document of recovery but were only “clear to arrive” so I emailed them our proof of positive results and reservation number letting them know the option to upload two documents wasn’t there. Was changed to clear to sail within an hour. Two days later I had our two son’s documents of recovery uploaded and immediately emailed their positive results, they were marked clear to sail first go around! So being a little proactive helps in the process too!

Thanks for sharing your experience. That's exactly how it went for my wife (after some round trip as they didn't understand she was only “clear to arrive”, it somehow showed differently on their system).

Trouble is when you upload your document, the site only asks you for your proof of recovery, but they also need your recovery letter. So you should either:
1. combine both in a PDF
2. send your one, and the other by email

Okay - so I have some confusion over this portion of the DCL website:

“For sailings from Barcelona, Guests can also use the Sail Screen by Prenetics website to purchase and schedule a pre-trip test to be performed at a testing location set up near the cruise terminal, one to 3 days before their sail date. Results will be available 24 to 48 hours from the time the sample is received by Prenetics and will be sent to the email address provided during registration on the Prenetics website. Information on this service for sailings from other European homeports is forthcoming.”

Is that just for people who are unvaccinated and need testing or is this in lieu of the testing at the port? The first itinerary out of Civitavecchia is in 14 days. I wish they would get their logistics sorted.

My guess is that it is for guests that needs to be tested within 3 days of the sailing. Testing would still be conducted at port.

All of my vaccination records have been approved and I have the QR codes for Prenetics. Is there an app I have to download for the test results at the port? Does anyone have any details they can provide on process in Civitavecchia?

sailing next week Friday and no way I can link my reservation: not with my name nor my friend... been e-mailing them since last week and all they keep telling me is I'm not on the list and to check back later...

You sit and wait after doing the test and the result is emailed to you.

How long did it take for Prenetics to validate/approve your Covid records?

Also, anyone know how many Pzifer shots is considered for 'fully vaccinated' for 5-12 yr olds by DCL?
Here in Canada is 2 shots (boosters have not been approved for this age group), but don't know if DCL might have other standards.

DCL uses the CDC definition and considers "full vaccinated" as 14 days after receiving:
  • A single dose of an accepted 1-dose vaccine
  • The second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine
  • The full series of an active (not placebo) COVID-19 vaccine in the US-based AstraZeneca or Novavax COVID-19 vaccine trials
  • The second dose of any “mix and match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines (administered at least 17 days apart)
So that's 2 Pfizer doses for ages 5-12, plus 2 weeks. No booster required.

We had approval through Prenetics in about 12 hours. My 13 year old is not boostered and Prenetics/Disney accepted his vacinnation records. Fortunately Italy lifted all requirements for entry or he would have had to booster.

Just got an email from DCL about requirements for the WBTA in September. Tried to get in to Prenetics but says it can’t find my reservation details. Am I in for a world of phone call pain? Or am I just too early as we’re not sailing for another 9 weeks yet?

You are too early. I got the same email. DCL have updated the testing requirements for cruises after July 30. We now have to test before arrival and upload to Prenetics.

You set up the account and link your reservation 15 days before sail date.

I’m pretty sure it is just too early. We don’t sail until September and ours isn’t showing yet, either. I’m guessing they do it closer to the date so that the cruise line sends fewer updates as people add and cancel. So they probably send a passenger manifest a few weeks out and then they can send the smaller updates.

Anybody on the July 30 cruise? According to an email I got today they should have it set up to where you can upload your Covid test by 7/23.

Prenetics is still delayed. For the 8/17 cruise they are hoping to have it ready by Friday or the weekend :rolleyes2

On the 8/17 11 day Iceland etc. cruise. Tried a couple of times today and can't get the site to recognize the reservation "Reservation not found" so apparently something isn't entered into their database yet. The response from their rep via e-mail was basically a long cut and paste of their on-line help instructions with a section highlighted telling me to register within 14 days of sailing....duh...thanks for the non-help.

Their reply to my email (same sailing!) was that they have the participants list for the cruise, but their development team hasn't linked it yet and to try again Friday.

What's the difference bw "proof of recovery"and "recovery letter"? Thanks!! And great great tip to combine into one pdf!

I'm on the Iceland cruise as well but I'm getting a déjà vu of my Prenetics nightmare in June where it took me 37 e-mails of useless customer service generic answers that didn't read the history of the case, to finally be approved the day before the cruise to then get tot the terminal where there systems only had a profile for the person travelling with me but not for me....

For anyone else on the 8/17 Iceland/Magic trip...Prenetics has the reservations in a data base and you can upload the vacc cards and data.
