Are you allowed to take spray on sunscreen in your carry on or checked luggage?

Checked bag, yes. Carry on, only if it's less than the 3oz limit per container.

Thanks. I was concerned because the spray on type sunscreen is an aerosol but not listed as prohibited on the TSA site.

Personal care items in aerosol form, like sunscreen or hair spray, are not prohibited in either checked bags or carry on. You do still have to follow the 3-1-1 rule if you carry it on.
