Progress in motion?

I've heard rumors here and there (mostly here) that with Alien Encounter closing for an extended rehab, Timekeeper and/or Carousel of Progress might be re-opened (which would make sense, as with them closed as well as AE, that leaves Tomorrowland feeling a little on the sparce side attraction-wise!). Anyone know if this is the case? Here's hoping, as I've never done Timekeeper and haven't seen Carousel of Progress since I was about... well, way, way, young.

Unless some friendly CM on here finds out and shares the info with us, we may have to wait until October 13 and see what's open...I sure hope it's true too. While I'm sorry I won't get a last chance to see AE this November, I'd like to do both Timekeeper and CoP again!
