Product to remove pictures from old album?

I'm going to start working on my father's Navy pictures. I'm planning on scrapping and recording his pictures before he passes away. He is 78 and recovering from cancer.
Some of these pictures are in an old scrapbook and taped to the page. Isn't there a certain product that I can use to safely remove the scotch tape without damaging the picture? Thanks in advance for any information!

When I was at my LSS this week for a class, every time somebody has adhered something that they wanted to move, the instructor offered them a product/tool called "Undo". Since I wasn't one of the folks who needed to "un-do" something I didn't pay much attention. Perhaps you can use this info to find out what the product/tool was. Good luck!

I used to be a CM consultant and there is an AWESOME tool that CM sells to remove photos from old albums-It worked like a charm when I removed all the pics from my parents' albums!!! It's the Multi-purpose tool. I think it retails for around $6... in the meantime, good ole' floss can work as well-if you can maneuver it under one corner and try to glide it underneath, it should help release the photo.... GL!!!

I have heard of people using the undo with success. I have used the floss method and it works, just be sure to go slowly. On one picture I pulled too fast and it tore through the middle of the picture.

I have the cm multipurpose tool and it is great!

It's spelled Un-Du and it works really well. It has a built in scraper on the applicator so you can apply it and scrape all at one. The scraper is like the CM multipurpose tool... which I LOVE btw (I have 2 in case I misplace one!).

I've used un-du with very good success on my photos & "stuff" from my old sticky photo albums. Good luck.

Un-Do is awesome! I have used it on pictures and stickers that I put in the wrong place.
