Yeah. Procrastination. What was the worst you have ever procrastinated? Have you ever been in trouble for procrastinating? Just curious. :)

Okay, you can stop hovering over the thread title to see what this thread is about, the title should say it all. ;)

I'm in a huge amount of mess right now. I have a test on a book that was supposed to be read by tomorrow, and I'm only half way through the book.

I'm procrastinating as I type :teeth:

But... I have all night to work on stupid math projects ;]

I hate procrastinating.

Stopping is easier said than done.

When I didnt make my school villiage thing untill the night before at 9:00.
My dad let me stay home sick because I just couldn't finish it

That's cool of him. My parents would never let me do that, although they are very cool about grades.

yet my dad is super strict about grades, he doesn't really like B's, hates C's, and if I have a D, well I wouldn't be touching any electronic stuff for years

I procrastinate too much. I've procrastinated a 3 page written story until the hour it was due and then I finally started. I got an A...

I procrastinate way too much. I have a huge project due next Friday, and I've barely started...

I was left at home alone with my two youngers sisters to babysit and that wasn't exactly wise thinking since I haven't touched that book since school has been out. Oh, well. I've already made a failing grade this week and I don't know if my parents can handle another. Such as life.:upsidedow

i procrastinate more than i breathe.
i have ACT's coming up and im supposed to be studying. right.
i have drama districts next week. do i know my lines? right.
i have a con in 38 days. is that costume done? ha.

Last year I started my papers the night before.. went to bed 11-12ish, got up at 4ish and finished it then - I got an A in that class :) My brain functions much better after sleep than before sleep.

My worst procrastinating was the day before Christmas Break freshman year.. I had a bio project(easy breezy) and an English project on Emily Dickinson and her poetry.. AND that night before I sang at HersheyPark.. I started the English one before, but the bio project was still in note form.. So I got home around 11, worked the entire night.. got an A on the bio paper, and a not so good grade on the English paper(honestly, no one did good) - but she let us correct the paper and was able to raise the grade to an A- :)

By the way - I still have 4½ chapters of Wuthering Heights to read tonight and it's 10pm >_< I'll be up late tonight

I've been trying to cut down on the procrastinating.

My "rock bottom" was last year. I had 6 weeks to work on a poetry anothology.
I wait until the weekend before to complete it.

I agree 100 %.

--------------------------------------------------------

I once waited until the night before to do a report and poster on French Government. I pulled an all-nighter and finished that one up; I snagged 97 % on it too ;) . The same thing happened with my projects on Greek Pottery, St. Joan d'Arc, the Mute Swan, Manatees, Simple Machines, Modern Japan, Advertising, the Philippines, Mon Arbre Genealogique, and every other project I can remember.

I always wait until the night before, and that is not exaggeration. I somehow manage to pull it of though and get a really good mark on the final project. I work extremely well under pressure :)

Oh, and I forgot to mention....

I have six pages of math and a couple science questions due tomorrow, and I haven't even started yet. First day back after holidays and my math teacher assigns almost an entire chapter!? :furious: I don't even understand the math, so it looks like I'll have to come up with some lame excuse.

i do it a lot

i have a project on churches due in thursday(we have to include details about t least 2 churches) and i've got six pages which is half of one church.

i have an english paper due friday and i havent bothered to start that

Yep. I procrastinate with everything.

I don't study for tests until the day before.

I don't do homework till the morning it's due.

When given an assignment ahead of time I won't do it until the day before it's due.

I had a paper to write a few months ago for English. We knew about for like, 2 weeks. Teacher gave us work time for like, a week. I didn't write mine till the morning before school.

And, I got an A and he recommended me for a creative writing class.

Yes totally.
I have a psychology A level exam in 2 weeks and i have only just started revising. This exam determines if i go to uni or not, and to get to the Uni i want to go to, i have to get an A!

But honestly i am so bad at procrastinating. I even tidied my room earlier to stop revising *sigh*

ohhhh I am the queen of procrastination. XD.

Last semester, I procrastinated wayyyy more than I should. For example, I had a 6-page paper that I was given 2.5 weeks to work on. What do I do? Not even write one word of it until 10:30am the day it was due (we had to turn it in by midnight). I got it done, and got a B+ on it as well, so it does work. :)

I just started and ended a month long assignment this past weekend due for today. (The assignement included reading a close to 400 page book and then creating a rather large visual along with pages of information regarding the book and scientific techniques used within it).
