Hi All,
I wondered if anyone else had ever had this issue and if you found a way around it.
In the past when I have applied for my ESTA everything has been fine, even with my current passport.
This time however it through a wobbly. My passport is valid for 11 years rather than 10 as when I got married i had the remaining year added on to my new passport. The online ESTA form cannot cope with a passport length over 10years now so wouldn't let me complete my application.
I contacted them via the form and got given 3 options:
1) Don't come - not an option!
2) Buy a new passport
3) Apply for a full Visa
Has anyone else had this issue and found an alternative??
Luckily for my trip in a couple weeks I have an existing ESTA that I was able to update and is valid for just long enough which was a relief!
