Before you suggest I call Technical support about the problem, I would like to be upfront and say I already have. They don't know how to fix this...so I come to you all for help troubleshooting this problem.

Background...

We are DVC members. My family of 4 all holds PAPs. We are staying for one night at BLT beginning 5/23. The next day we are meeting our friends...another family of 4...to begin a 7 night stay at THV. We booked our FP+ options for all 8 for 5/24-5/30. One family had to book and the other family copied. My DH and I decided we would like to go to Epcot for the evening on 5/23. When I try to book FP+ for all 4 of my family, I am eligible to book, but my other 3 family have the message "FP+ limit has been reached."

This is what I have figured out. I control all of family in MDE since I make all the reservations. When I became Friends on MDE with the other family, it does not link all of my family to them...just me. Therefore, the passholder rule that states I can make FP+ reservations for my length of stay applies to only myself...not the other 3 family members as they are not linked to the THV stay through MDE. They are bound to the 7 days per the passholder rules.

I have tried adding the CF # to my other family members under reservations, but it will not allow me to do so as I do not have control of the THV stay.

I have made an account for my DH, friended him, and had his account send a friend request to our friend holding the THV reservation. I'm not sure if this has solved the problem with DH because our friend is out with family right now. However, this does not solve the problem for my 2 children. They are under 13, so they will not be allowed accounts on MDE.

Any ideas from anyone for me to try to troubleshoot this? I'm willing to try any ideas you may have.

In order for any of your Friends to add your children to their family & friends list, they need to do the following. After they click on 'Add a Guest', they need to click on the 'Invite Through a Mutual Friend' tab at the top of the page. Once they will select you in the Mutual Friend drop list, your friends (including your children) will be displayed for them to select. You will have to approve the friend request for any of your managed profiles (your children).

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I have one problem currently being fixed...when my friend invited me, he sent it to me under my DH's name. Technical support is trying to fix that through DVC. That can't be done until tomorrow. I will try your suggestion once that problem is resolved.
