A friend of mine was due to go to Disneyland Paris yesterday, but is still stuck in the UK:mad:. They could not get to London due to the snow. They have now re booked for March. I do not know who is more upset, them or there kids.

I feel for them. It's such a shame when all your holiday plans go out the window. I was suppriased to hear Gatwick was closed to the snow. I'd of thought they would have had enough snow planes to be able to keep their runways open.

Such a shame And a massive disappointment.

The weather seems to have taken many by surprise.
Eurostar services through the tunnel were also affected

Aww what a shame, this snow has caused some problems this time, esp being so close to Christmas. I had friends going to France yesterday from Heathrow, they did get there eventually but 12 hours later.

We are due to go on Monday, but I am starting to doubt if it is meant to be. Firstly there was supposed to be a Eurostar strike, then we had snow here, then last night all the trains got stuck in the tunnel with thousands stranded for hours. I am thinking it may be easier to stay home and even my daughter suggested we should just wait until February for our next trip.:sad2:

I won't get a refund unless Eurostar actually cancel my train though. I'm almost wishing they would (Aaaargh, did I just say that????)
