Problem

My sister is coming home from the Army. So, I am taking her on a trip to Disney. It was scheduled to be a May trip; however, there has been a slight change of plans! She is coming in December, which means we will be celebrating Christmas at the World - on my treat! Okay...

Here is my problem...

My sister is leaving her car and is going to be flying in. She will be flying into Daytona Beach, Florida. We will all be staying at my house; however, we will depart from there to Orlando, Florida - Walt Disney World. My question is, how can we get there?

Of course we can always rent a car - but it is only a 1.5 hour drive but we dont need it during our stay. We will be using the bus system and my parents will be arriving at the World on our last day - we will all go home via their vehicle. Is it possible to rent a car from someone locally in Daytona Beach and return it in Orlando, Florida?

Can anyone help - I dont want this to stop our trip!

I believe you can return them right in Disney. I am not sure where, though. I am sure someone here will know...because that is where I read it!

If i am understanding correctly... you need a ride from Daytona to Orlando?

Can you find a friend to give you a ride... or I believe there is also a shuttle service... Dot Transportation.(not sure if they are still in business... its been about 5 yrs since we've used them) I know they go to Orlando International Airport.
