Is anyone having a hard time getting onto the Disney cruise line web site? I have tried to get on it the past two days on my computer and iPad and all I get is error messages. Just wanted to check if it is a problem here or with the site.

Trying to check on our trip and cannot do anything....ugh:eek:

I can definitely say that the biggest disappointment (in my experience) with Disney has been their website. We took a cruise in May & have one booked for June 2012. The first cruise was amazing and the service was impeccable. Every time I call DCL I get great service. Unfortunately most of the times that I have to call them, it is because the website is not functioning properly.

It is definitely VERY VERY frustrating! Plus in addition to being down/difficult a lot of the time, it is not all that intuitive for browsing.

I hope your experience is better than mine. However, if you continue to experience difficulty, I recommend you call the 1-800#. I realize that in 2012 that seem counterintuitive, but in this case it has produced the best results.

Online, one the phone, via fax or USPS, all in all, it's worth it for a day at Castaway Cay!

I had no issues ever. I have heard people complain though.

Same here. I check twice a day for stateroom availability. The only issue I have ever had was a couple of times when trying to retrieve my reservation it will log me out and I will have to log in again.

Although I agree the website sucks (as do ALL disney websites) I've been on the DCL site several times the past few days with no trouble at all.

I'm using an iPad and have not been able to get on the Disney site for the last two days either. It gives me an apache tomcat error message and fills the page with code. I have tried to link to the site directly and through search engines with no luck. So it's not just you. I haven't tried to go on the site with my laptop yet, so I'm not sure if it's isolated to the iPad.

Sometimes it's the browser. I know I get a lot of error messages with Google Chrome, but it works better with Explorer. :confused3

I looked at our reservations on iPad and Internet Explorer with no problems this morning. However, I have had problems in the past on the iPad. Go into Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data. This has fixed my problem every time in the past. :surfweb:

I've had the same problem on my iPad for a week! Frustrating! No problems on my desktop though. I'm going to try to clear cookies now!

It took me about 7 tries to log in on my iPad. It kept telling me "invalid log-in" even though I know all my info was typed correctly. I finally got through, was able to do what I needed to do, and, as luck would have it, a request to complete a survey re: DCL's website popped up. I normally wouldn't bother with it but today I felt the need to let them know how disappointed I am with the website. We've had problems since booking our cruise last March, mostly with the "My Cruise Activities" portion. I hope it improves. There's a lot to be said for taking care of things on website as opposed to calling a DCL rep.
