Problem with my hot water boiler!!!

I know that this is long shot but the plumbers have given up and we are still waiting for the company to contact us with an appointment so here goes.....

We have a Worcester Bosch 24Si RSF combination boiler. When we turn the hot water on it clicks but the burner does not seem to ignite. After about 3 or 4 goes it finally lights but the hot water then seems to run hot and cold and the boiler starts clicking again.

Does any one else have this boiler and/or had this fault and know what the problem is ?

I am beginning to give up hope , we have had 3 plumbers/heating engineers look at it each one has diagnosed a different solution, each time the fault has come back.

No ideas unfortunately but I do hope that it gets sorted soon..

The people from Worcester Bosch are coming out to look at it next week I am just hoping that its nothing too expensive.

we have a worcester bosch 25si i had problems that were similar last december.
we had people out continuously and in the end after the boiler had £1000 parts that it didnt need, the problem was found, it was the soak away outside, it wasnt letting the water soak away and the water was backing back up to the boiler, which led us to having the similar problems as you.
all that they did was cut the soak away pipe to free the water.
