Hey there everyone...I know many of us are anxiously awaiting the announcement of possible codes good for stays in Apr/May/June. I was wondering if anyone would be able to venture a guess (based on history) what I might be paying (per night) for one room (standard) at the Wilderness Lodge if they release general public codes (I don't have an AP nor am I AAA or Florida Resident).

My travel dates are May 8 - May 11.

Thank you so much for any and all who respond to my post! I appreciate your help!

we booked Standard View with a code for $129/nt.---inc. tax. The next two times, both in Jan. - Feb., we chose Woodsview (on the first trip, they'd upgraded us and we liked it so much we stay with it!) and it was $153/nt. inc. tax with a code. Keeping our fingers crossed for Oct. 2005!

Thanks, Karla for your post!

Golly, that would be nice to pay that rate. Just hope they are close to being that generous this year. Would be very nice indeed! Were you given that upgrade for free...like you didn't ask for it...they just gave it to you? That would be such a nice, unexpected blessing!

Hope you get a good rate for your upcoming October trip!

Last year, for the same season, pin rates were the same as AP rates, and general public rates for WL were $15 more per night than AP rates (2004 May -- STANDARD: $124 AP, $139 general, WOODS: $139 AP, $154 general).

If they do the same this year, then WL std with AP would be $124, and WL std for general would be $139. However, I've heard availability for std isn't very good. WL woods, pin rate was $137, so general would be about $152.

Good luck, hope you get it!

I booked my standard room with a 'pin' code for June 13-16th and did get a rate of $139 per night. Of course I did this in mid January and I know it's probably gotten a lot tighter since then.

Have a magical day,
Andy

Does anyone remember the approximate cost of Port Orleans Riverside (with a code) for last year? Thanks!

It was our first time to WDW and at check-in, as they handed me the roomcard, they said we'd have non-smoking, woodsview. I corrected her, that we'd booked for only a standard view and she said, yes, but we'd been upgraded! So, I didn't ask---was just upgraded! Which, I may add, was a big heap of pixie dust for us since DS (then 6) had just gotten sick the day before and was on anti-biotics, etc. and the woodsview was so quiet and peaceful!

IF a code comes out (in whatever shape) for WL we might be able to stay at WL for the 8nights before our BCV portion of our vacation

As of now we have 5nights at Pop and 3nights at WL - I cant pay the $199 for 9nights before switching to BCV
