you know there are people that have private weddings at disney and they have mickey and minnie come and everything like that. well when i went and stayed at the dolphin we were strolling around the yacht and beach club and we saw a pirvate wedding going on. they photographer was there taking pictures of the bride and groom. and then out came mickey and minnie. it was so cool and romantic all together. and then all of a sudden... here comes this man out of nowhere taking pics and running up there with kids to see mickey and minnie. now there are signs that say private wedding do not disturb and ropes everywhere and here is this family going after them. now is this rude to you guys or is it just me?? sorry i just wanted to get that off my chest. even though its been awhile

I would have gone all bridezilla on that man...there should have been handlers there for mickey and minnie to keep freaks like that away.

So there weren't any handlers when the man and his children came running up? Did the bride go "bridezilla"? Wish I could've seen that.;)

Yes, a little rude of that man.

well the wedding planner was like NO!!! really loud into a megaphone thing and then the handlers came running and escorted him out with the children saying wow mickey looks really pretty and things like that but i guess the handlers didnt see them they were trying to be discreet. but obviously running with a camera permanently attached to your face is not being discreet! lol i would have gone bridezilla but the bride was actually much more polite than she should have been. she kinda laughed it off and the groom was very angry his face was red so the bride giggled and started fanning his face. very cute couple! :)

Gracious bride!:)

Well, I have to say the most memorable and best weddings are sometimes when something original or unique happens...and usually it's in the form of a mishap. They'll laugh at that one day...I hope.;)

definitely rude!

funny story -- we had minnie and mickey come to our reception and at one point they got on the dance floor with the kids and started dancing around. my bil got up behind minnie and started to "freak" her  :o :earseek: and the handler jumped in and was like "we don't do that." bwahahahahahahahaha! :rotfl: the inlaws love to tell that story.

I guess it depends on the couple. I think the sort of people who'd have Mickey & Minnie at their wedding would probably be okay with TWO children running up to them.

Was it rude of the kids parent? Sure. But I wouldn't let it ruin my day. I'd probably just laugh.
