Private Rental Home ?

For anyone who has rented a private home for their WDW vacation, do these homes have telephones in them? We have a calling card to use for my dd's to call home to the Grandparents who aren't coming on this trip, I know they can't go the whole week without talking to them.. Also to make local phone calls for something like Pizza Delivery..

The ones I have looked at online all list a phone in their description, some even boast free national/international calls and most for sure say free local calls. I would look in the property description.

We have rented two homes now and both times we had a phone. We used a calling card or a cell for most of our calls but I know the phones had local access available in each house. The owners also left menus for us from local restaurants. I would be very surprised if any home you found didn't have a phone in it. Have a great time.

As a home owner I can not imagine not having a phone in case of any type of emergency. Most will have local free access.

We use www.villadirect.com and love them. They offer free local, long distance and even international long distance with all of their homes. We definitely used them to order out too - had some of the best Chinese food I've ever had from brochures they had in the house.

We rented the Sunshine Bay Villa at Oak Island Cove and it was wonderful. New, great pool & spa, beautifully decorated, great location, etc, etc. We're renting it again this year! And it was cheap too. A 4 bedroom home for only $130/night!
