Wow I am confused!

If you order a private photo session and get the CD it is 99.95 right?

You get the CD and a package but what if you have other Photo pass pictures on another card?

Do they all get placed on the CD? Both before and after the session??

Can someone help?

Has anyone done this at the Beach Club?

We did this in January at the Poly and here's what happened:

We preordered a Photopass CD and then, in our confirmation e-mail, there was an offer for the private photo session for a sale price (maybe $25...it's since gone way up). We booked that session and it was handled separately from our regular photopass pics.

We had the private session and they burn a Photo CD while you wait.

Then - at the end of our trip - when we got home, we logged onto the Photopass website and entered all of the Photopass Card #s onto our account (I think we had 5-6 between our whole family). Then - we edited them as desired, ordered our CD and a week or two later the Photo CDs arrived.

The photopass pics on your card are separate from your photopass private session. Perhaps they'd let you add a Photopass card to the private session CD - but we didn't try - so someone else will have to tell you if it's possible.

Good luck.

Super! Thank you for the info.

Does anyone one if they allow you to add you photo pass pics from before the session? (i.e. a card you have been filling for the week before your session?)

You should be able to add photopass photos taken before. Just ask them to add your card to the same CD after your session, right there at the same Kiosk. If you plan to have more pics taken after your session, just be sure to tell them to leave the CD open for more content to be added later. (they'll probably ask you if you plan to do this, they did us) They also cautioned us that to be absolutely sure they got loaded afterward to come back to that same kisok where you went for your private session. They warned that not all the CM's in the park photo kiosks are as proficient and may not know what you're talking about.

So isn;t it like the photo session is free as the CD costs 99 dollars anyway if you pre-order it??

Would love to do this at Xmas time. Where do they take the photos at the Beach Club? Is it in a Studio or outdoors? So for the cost of the session I should be able to get all my photopass pictures for the entire trip?

From what I understand and have seen it is all out and about the Beach Club. I am trying to find out of you can add all your pics from your photo pass card therefore it would be free. 99 dollars for the session and the pics.

It is kinda confusing.

We did this last year (as evidenced in my sig) at the Poly. I pre-purchased the photopass CD before we went, and the cost of the shoot was $25 which was paid at the time of the shoot - it has now gone up to $75, I believe. At the end of the shoot, they transferred all the photos taken, which was about 65 to the photopass card we had been using all that week.

How do you get your photos if you don't purchase a photopass CD?

It is two different fees -- $99 for the photopass CD and $75 for the private photo session.

Special Disney's PhotoPass Photo Sessions
For Disney Visa cardholders, a special free private meet & greet is offered daily 1:30 - 4:30 pm at Epcot. Located in the Innoventions West building, just past the Where's The Fire? and Play It Safe exhibits is a curtained off area. Guests with card in hand may join the line for their own private meeting with 2 or 3 of the fab five. Not only will there be a Disney's PhotoPass photographer onhand to take as many photos as you wish, but each account (up to 2 accounts per family) is entitled to a free 5x7 print available later at the Camera Center. While each account is limited to one print a day, cardholders are free to visit multiple days of their vacation if they wish. Depending on the Cast Member at the Camera Center, many guests have reported to be able to receive a print of any Disney's PhotoPass photo instead of the Visa Meet & Greet photo, especially after expressing disinterest in the latter. At Disneyland Resort, you can find the Disney Visa meet & greet operating for the first hour and a half of the park's opening in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area of Disney's California Adventure, by Monsters, Inc.

Disney Resorts Private Photo Shoot - You can arrange for private 30 minute photo sessions with a Disney's PhotoPass photographer at the Grand Floridian, Beach Club, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge (Please note that Saratoga Springs is no longer offered. It's expected to be moved to the Contemporary Resort but no time line has been offered at this time). The sessions includes around 40 photos (limited only by time) taken around the picturesque resorts and their beaches. Please note that as of September 1, 2008, Portrait sessions at the resorts are a separate entity from the Disney's PhotoPass system in the theme parks. While both Parks and Portraits use the same system for their photos, they are separate products. There is also a new pricing structure in place, which is as follows:

Disney's PhotoPass Portrait Session Photo Package - For a price of $49.95, you will get your choice of one of the following packages: (A) 8x10 (2), 5x7 (3); (B) 5x7 (2), 4x6 (4 sets of 2); (C) 5x7 (7). You will be able to choose the pose for each print, so you can have up to 5 different poses for Package A, up to 6 different poses for Package B and up to 7 different poses for Package C

Disney's PhotoPass Portrait Session PhotoCD - For a price of $99.95, you will get your choice of photo package as explained above plus all of the photos on a PhotoCD.

For guests who have either pre-purchased Disney's PhotoPass PhotoCD or have purchased the PhotoCD in the parks, the session will be available for $70.

Reports from guests who have participated in the photo sessions are overwhelmingly positive. Available times are seasonal, starting daily at 8 am until 7 pm or sunset, whichever comes first. Call 407-824-1700 to make reservations up to 30 days in advance or for additional information.

Hope that helps :confused3
