Private Dining at mods/anniversary surprise

When DH and I got engaged, my sister called private dining at WL and had them send champagne and chocolate covered (little tuxedos!) strawberries to our room.

Can something like that be done at POR or is that only a deluxe thing?

My DBIL wants have something delivered to the room for his DW for their anniversary and I thought that sounded nice but wasn't sure if it was doable at the mods.

Any other suggestions on anniversary surprises?

Sorry I think that luxury is only at the deluxe resorts. 99% sure.

But if he wants to surprise her he can check with the disney florist or that other place that does baskets to the rooms. Betty or Besty I think is her name.

I am sure someone else knows exactly what I am talking about.

Pretty sure that would be his only route.

They have room delivery at Coronado Springs. But that is the only mod that does it. We've had breakfast delivered and I ordered a birthday cake for DH last trip.

disneyflorist.com will have a wide variety of items that can be sent to the room, both flowers and food/wine items. They deliver to any resort.

If you are looking for something more specific, call the hotel direct - they can put you in touch with the correct area/company.

Yes, I ordered it 2 weeks before. I just wanted chocolate ganache and strawberries. It was very good

Thank you for posting the picture, that looks good and I'm sure it was a great surprise for him. I'm so excited that I can order a cake for our son and hoping to get a Christmas theme cake.

Was it delivered when you are not in the room?
When we stayed at GF and AKL...the cakes was delivered when we were not there but I did tell them around the time so when we got back from dinner it was there...I'm hoping it works the same way.

I had asked that it be placed in our room before we returned. But, as I remember, they had "forgotten" and had the cake sent to the room within 10 minutes. Not exactly the surprise I had hoped for, but then again, it was just the 2 of us so it was alright.
