Private Balcony in Napa Room?

I had posed this question on the "wedding date" thread, but decided to start a new one. I would really like to host my post-wedding dinner in the Napa room. One of the main reasons for my choice is the view of MK at night. Does anyone know if there is a private balcony associated with the Napa room from which I could enjoy Wishes? Or do you and your wedding guests have to go up to the observation deck? Along those lines, if you have to go up to the deck, can you reserve it for a private viewing of the show? Thanks!

Click here to see a photo of the Contemporary Resort. I don't believe the Napa or Sonoma private banquet rooms have their own balconies. If memory serves me correctly, I remember reading that there are two outdoor areas (observation decks) on that floor of the resort and those areas may be accessed by any of the CA Grill’s and Napa/Sonoma’s guests. But definitely call the resort to get the definitive answer to your question. Please report back to us what you find.

although there are no private balconies, there is a 2nd observation deck that's just steps away from your seat. and although its a public deck, nobody from the restaurant goes there b/c its kinda tough to get to from the main dining area.
when we were there for our wedding, there was like nobody on the deck with us.

hAm53, you brought up an excellent point. My family dined with friends at the California Grill during our August vacation. I didn't go out on either of the observation decks for the fireworks but my daughter and my friends did. I just asked my daughter about the decks. She said the first deck was so packed with people that they wound up going to the second deck instead. When I asked her how many people were on that deck, she said somewhere between 20 to 30 people. We dined on a Sunday night. I hope that helped.
