Priority Seating for character breakfasts?

I'm looking at breakfast at Goofy's kitchen. I call Disney Dining, right? Is this something that I pre-pay for, or will we be paying when we eat? Thanks!

We went in December 07. First, we called for the reservation. Then, when we arrived at Goofy's Kitchen, our entire group pre-paid. We took a photo with Goofy and then we were seated. That's the way it was for us.

Yep, call Disney Dining.

You will pay for your meal when you check-in at the restaurant, before you eat. It is priced per person (although I do believe they have an a la carte menu as well, but can't say for sure) similar to other all-you-can-eat places.

Disney Dining yes, and you won't pay during the phone call.

If you're going to a place where there is only a buffet (like Goofy's) I believe you pay when you check in for the meal. If you're going to a place with a choice of buffet and menu (Lilo and Stitch breakfast and the Storyteller's Chip and Dale b'fast) then you pay after your meal.

Something to look into, however, are getawaytoday dot com meal vouchers. I believe that Goofy's kitchen is included... Go here: http://www.getawaytoday.com/TicketListing.aspx?dest_id=2 and then use the second drop-down box to choose "dining" (making sure the first drop-down is on Disneyland Resort). There you can see vouchers for everything but the princess breakfast. Click on the "more" button to the right of the name of the voucher to see what it's for exactly. Buy those up front (they include tax and tip, I believe) and that is a nice savings.

Goofy's doesnt have an a la carte menu....just the buffet there.

And, just so you know...they offer to take this nice photo of you with Goofy when they seat you, and then they want to sell it to you for 30$ during your meal. I wish I wold have known that and taken one of the children with Goofy and the nice backdrop on my own camera. Instead, we all hopped into the picture.
